little girl with her clayPlaces at Benachie Playgroup

Children can be left with qualified staff from 2 years 6 months up to school age. There are Stay and Play sessions for children who are 2 years old to 2 years 6 months

There is a waiting list for younger children, and places are offered by age first, then by time on the waiting list.

Many parent/carers get their children’s name down early in order to avoid disappointment. Please email our Manager, Fiona, for more information or to arrange a visit, benachieplaygroup@gmail.com, or send us a Facebook message.

Our opening times, location and fees

We are open during school term time on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, 9:15am – 11:30am in the Studio Theatre, Carnegie Hall, East Port, Dunfermline KY12 7JA

The fees policy is included in your child’s starter pack and fully explained at your playgroup induction session.

There is a playgroup administrative fee of £20 to book a place.

For your information

Your child doesn’t have to be toilet trained and we are happy to support you through this process when the time comes.

We have a large grassy garden so the children can enjoy playing outdoors year round.

We also currently have the facility for free car parking for 20 minutes at drop off and pick up times in the neighbouring Viewfield Terrace car park.

We provide healthy snacks and cater for dietry requirements and children with allergies. We also support the national toothbrushing campaign in early years through our participation in the Childsmile programme.
